Set up your tax rates

Open in Soap NotesSettings › Taxes

If you charge tax, adding your rates once means every invoice works it out for you and your exports come out already broken down. If you do not charge tax, skip this page entirely. Nothing else in Soap Notes depends on it.

How to do it

    Open Settings, then Taxes

    Add one rate per tax you actually charge, with the name your clients and your accountant would recognise.

  2. 2

    Apply a rate when you invoice

    Rates are picked per invoice rather than forced globally, because most practices have at least one service that is exempt.
